Our day unfolds with an exclusive exploration of Casablanca, starting with a panoramic tour and a guided visit to the Museum of the Jews of Morocco. We’ll then venture into the charming Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and visit the Beth El and Neve Shalom synagogues. The day culminates with an extravagant GayaTours Gala Dinner, promising a lavish experience in the heart of Casablanca.

MEKNES
Following a delightful kosher breakfast, we’ll journey to Fes with a captivating stopover in Meknes, often likened to the Moroccan Versailles. Founded in the late 17th century by Moulay Ismail, Meknes retains echoes of its Jewish heritage, with Hebraic epitaphs from the Christian era and Greek inscriptions within local synagogues. Our exploration will encompass the bustling old Mellah, which is graced with eight active synagogues, along with iconic landmarks like Bab Mansour, the Meknes Stables, Hedim Square, Thursday Gate, and the esteemed mosque of Moulay Ismail. Following this enriching visit, we’ll set our course for Fes, renowned as the most expansive medieval city in the Arab world and historically cherished by Jewish scholars and rabbis. FES
Our day commences with a visit to Fes’ Mellah (Jewish Quarter), where we will visit the Tomb of Solica and embark on a captivating Fes Jewish Heritage Tour. Our journey extends to the heart of this historic city, unveiling its myriad wonders and iconic sites, promising a truly exceptional experience in the enchanting city of Fes.

RABAT
After a sumptuous breakfast, we start our voyage to the captivating “red city” of Marrakesh, with a scenic stopover in Rabat, the illustrious capital of Morocco. In Rabat, we’ll pay homage to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a king revered for safeguarding the Moroccan Jewish community, and stroll through the enchanting Oudaya Gardens. Our journey continues, bringing us to Marrakesh, where we’ll enjoy a stay at the opulent 5-star Naoura Barriere hotel. The day unfolds with a captivating walking tour of the medina, allowing us to enjoy the allure of the renowned Night Market.

MARRAKECH
With an early start to our day, we will begin the immersive journey into the realm of Jewish Marrakesh. Our odyssey leads us to the historic Mellah, home to venerable synagogues, including the exquisite Negidim Synagogue, a testament to 19th-century craftsmanship. Another remarkable gem within the Mellah is Salat el Alzama, its origins shrouded in local legend, purportedly harkening back to the Second Temple era. Our exploration extends to the venerable Old Rampart of the Mellah. We will return in the afternoon to prepare for Shabbat and enjoy services at the Laazama Synagogue, followed by a splendid Shabbat dinner in the comfort of our Marrakesh hotel.

MARRAKECH
Our Shabbat in Marrakesh promises to be a cherished and unforgettable experience with a delightful walking tour of the city.

MARRAKECH
After a Gaya Tours style breakfast, we'll set off for the picturesque Berber village of Ourika, immersing ourselves in the authentic Berber way of life. Winding through the Vallée d'Ourika, we'll come upon Aghbalou, an ancient Berber Jewish sanctuary and synagogue, where the resting place of tzaddik Rabbi Shlomo Bel Hansh serves as the epicenter of one of Morocco's most significant Jewish pilgrimages.
Upon our return to Marrakesh, we'll explore the grand Bahia Palace, stroll through the exquisite Majorelle Gardens, and engage with a local herbalist, adding depth to our connection with this vibrant city. To cap off our adventure, we'll visit the Agafay desert for camel and ATV rides, culminating in a sumptuous, authentic outdoor barbecue dinner under the shimmering desert stars – a truly fitting conclusion to our Moroccan expedition.

We will depart Morocco with a comfortable bus transfer to Casablanca airport, where dedicated assistance will be provided during the boarding process, ensuring a seamless departure.For those seeking an alternative, flying back home from Marrakesh with a stopover in Casablanca is also an option.
